Nikki Clarke has been practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist for more than 30 years. She is a Maryland Licensed, ASHA certified Speech Pathologist and has formalized training in Orofacial Myology and Craniosacral Therapy (through the Upledger Institute).

Nikki prides herself in working very closely with families to achieve optimal results as quickly as possible. Caregivers and parents will learn techniques and strategies that they can integrate into their daily lives and implement immediately. Nikki's main goal is to provide the highest quality services that meet the needs of the entire family and help client's achieve maximum success.

Bianca

Bianca is a speech-language pathologist with over 16 years of experience working with individuals and families across the lifespan. Her clinical background includes adult neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders—such as stroke, brain injury, progressive neurological disease, and dysphagia—with specialized training and experience in infant feeding in a level 3 NICU.

After many years in large hospital systems, Bianca found Nikki! Through their partnership, Bianca has gained exceptional mentorship to round out her clinical skill set to expand to treating early speech and language development and motor speech disorders to best accommodate our community. 

Bianca has acquired specialized training and achieved qualification in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) to offer support and therapy that focuses on airway and oral motor maturation for speech and feeding skills from infancy to adulthood.

Bianca believes that strong therapeutic relationships are the foundation of meaningful progress. Trust, connection, and collaboration with clients and families are essential for achieving the best outcomes, and Bianca prioritizes creating a supportive, respectful space for care.

Billing

"The Nest" is a completely new company and separate from Clarke Communication Services (CCS). As of March 2026, CCS is no longer accepting new clients. All new clients will be seen under the new business (The Nest.). With this shift, we have made the decision to go completely OON and will not be pursuing credentialing with Insurance companies. We will not bill insurance companies (in or out of network).

Clients who are currently established under CCS will continue to operate as normal until June 1. We want to make this transition as smooth as possible. For those who cannot afford to pay OON and do not wish to stay with us at The Nest, we will do everything we can to help you find new therapists.

We accept HSA payments. We will offer Superbills for all services so people can get reimbursed from their insurance companies. We will also provide any documentation required by insurance companies to support these OON reimbursements.
